2011 ADO Cycling Championships

After having received a number of Expressions of Interests to host the Road and MTB championships, the committee would like to announce location for this ADO cycling championships.

  • Road Championships will be hosted in Sydney by LS Suzanne Peterson. Early September possibly 6-8th
  • MTB Championships will be hosted in Canberra by FLTLT Brendon Mulloy. Late October , early November
  • MTB Endurance Championships will be hosted in Sydney by SGT Simon Holland, Aug - Oct

The committee would like to thank FLTLT Craig Keane and the rest of the boys in SA for your support and interest in hosting the Road Championships. While we were in no doubt about your ability to host another great event, in the end, it was the tyranny of distance which swayed the vote towards Sydney.

Jaime Warren's 2008 Scott 24hr race report

I think my plan was simple.  Do more than my seven completed laps from the previous years ride in a four man team.

And just like cramming in a study session the night before the exam, I ended up killing two birds with one stone by doing my first eight hour and 12 hour in one ride.
