NSW Masters Track Championships

Well done to SGT Mick Rand and CPL Dean Benedetti, who took part in the NSW Masters Track Championships over the weekend. Mick and Benny ended up riding off against each other for the Bronze in the Individual Pursuit, with Benny getting the upper hand and setting a PB by over 5 seconds doing it.

Mick wasn't too disappointed though, as he'd spent a massive 80 laps off the front during the points race the day before, earning himself the Bronze medal and narrowly missing the silver.

The effort was good enough to earn him space on the front page of the Cycling NSW website, too:

The ADCC congratulates both these fantastic efforts - and as usual, more pictures please!

NSW State Team Pursuit

Benny, Mick, Paul and Ewan competed in the Masters Team Pursuit on the 14th of February...

Up until 3 laps to go in their heat, they were neck and neck with their much more fancied competition, but couldn't manage to overcome them, just missing out on the final. They managed a highly creditable 5th place overall. Not bad for a team that had never all been on the same track at the same time!

Check out the photos on the Track Racing page, or in the Phoca Gallery!

24hrs of MUD!

Okay, so that's not what it was really called, but multiple sets of worn brake pads can attest that that's what it was!

Our own ADCC three-man team of Seb Eckersley-Maslin, Sam Harkiss and Dan Crocker managed to finish 2nd in the threes category. Well done guys! Photos please!
